CUNA Shows Off New Pop-Up Video Messaging
Determined to sharpen the online credit union brand, CUNA has hired a Nashville, Tenn., vendor to help small and medium-size credit unions with advocacy and
product messaging by adopting 3D-style video technology. Linked up with SEMPartners Inc., designated as a new strategic vendor or
partner, CUNA is encouraging CUs to adopt the use of video pop ups, or overlays, on existing CU Web sites offered in what it calls an
"affordable and economical" turnkey package. Wes Millar, CUNA's senior vice president of strategic services, said
CU-VO can work well for CUs in allowing CEOs or top managers to convey both an advocacy message or to discuss a product with consumers in an appealing, tech-savvy style at
minimum expense.

GAC promo features hot new Web technology
WASHINGTON (1/21/10)--Credit unions thinking they notice something different about the latest video message from the Credit Union National Association
(CUNA) on the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) are correct. The message--in which CUNA President/CEO Dan Mica springs to life right on
CUNA's Web page--features technology from CUNA Strategic Services' newest strategic alliance partner, SEMPartners Inc. "When I first saw the CU-VO technology, I was struck by the way it commands attention, provides a personal connection, and allows for a stronger call to
action," said Mica. Mr. Wes Millar, CSS Sr. VP says Credit Union Video Overlay (CU-VO) provides a transparent video right over
your existing site. It is easy to implement. It provides an engaging and cost effective way to engage your visitors. It can reduce expenses and
increase your member relationships.
